My friend bought a Sony Cybershot DSC-T5 and DSC-T7 from Japan. And hey, guess what, they both use Japanese user interfaces. Is it possible to change 'em into English or does she need to take Japanese night classes?

Thx for answering!

I take a lot of low level and ground up pictures and would like to know if the following is possible and if not, why?

Is it possible to view the image you want to photograph through the LCD or can you only view it through the view finder.

If you can view the picture through the LCD, how do you set the camera up for this function.

If not, why did they not make this possible on this camera.

I've been trying to decide what camera to buy. I'm edging towards the Nikon D80 (seems pretty similar in quality of photos to the D200) and spend the money on some good lenses then upgrade the body in the next couple of years rather than buy a more expensive body (like the Canon EOS D5), but I want to blow up some shots to around four feet high if I want to (saw some shots of someones child this large which looked amazing) but don't know if the Nikons can cut it. Any advice?

I'd really like a dig cam so I can see the pics I've taken & take movies but I know they use up batteries really fast & I'm not sure how it would cope with the humidity. I hava a fisheye for my nikon f3, and i want to use it my Nikon D70s, but i've heard a lot of rumors about this can da,age the camera... are this rumours true? i v tried a couple photos, and it wokerd, of course, without autofocus, without, exposimeter, and without being able to control the diafragm from the body (i have to set it manually) Besides that it works fine. But i dont want to ruin my camera. Do you know if i can use it without risk?

I want a compact camera with 10 mp so that I can crop and still have quality results. Also like the idea of being able to focus by touching the LCD screen. How does that work?

Can anyone recommend a digital camera that would be a good first camera for my eight year old - this is all she wants for Christmas and I could do with a few suggestions. I need something that is relatively simple to use and gives good quality photos.

- we have previously had a Bratz camera but this was useless - far too small and the photo quality was terrible.

- something a little girly would be preferable, although it's not absolutely necessary

Thankyou!!
