I was told that I could find a great deal on used cameras. These cameras are the ones that people take back because it is too difficult for them to operate. Is that true? What are some advantages and drawbacks to purchasing a camera this way?

Digital Camera with video capabilty of atleast for 30 mins with fine quality. ---

Which camera supports the video recording in the fine mode for atleast 30 mins so that i will not need to buy a camcorder...

Cannon ones give u 1 min or 3 mins in the fine quality and 15 mins in bad quality..

Does Sony or any other camera gives the option to record as long as i want(Provided space is available in the memoery card) with the fine quality...

My main aim is to spend on a camera where i can record movies with voice and no need of cam corder.

*Camcorders come with 3.2 mpixes digital camera these days but i want a digital pic. of ateast 5 or 6 mpx.

I am looking for a nice digital camera, but i need it to be durable, reliable, at LEAST 5mp under 250$, and if possible cute.
I was wanting the Kodak V603, for 249$, but the are now on backorder =[.
It would be for christmas, so hopefully it cant be unavalable...
ok, i knoe this also makes it a little harder, but i was REALLY wanting it to be kinda small and black. that would really be awsome.

Thanks for the help!

Is the Canon Digital rebel a good replacement for a real SLR camera? i've been using an old school Canon AE-1 Program for taking pictures, and i love the results. i've been told that the Rebel was like the modern version of the AE-1 Program, is that true? and does the Digital version deliver as good of a picture as the film version?

I have a FujiFilm Finepix digital camera which is about 2 years old. Recent photos taken when the flash has been used have come out blurry and things look quite 'ghostly'. Shots taken without the flash are fine. Its not just me - shots taken by my partner are the same so it isnt me with the shakes!

Has anyone else had this? Is it repairable or do I give up and hope Santa brings me a new one for Xmas?

Please help. I've just lost all the photos taken at a special reunion this weekend and do not want to loose anymore.

Which digital cameras on the market will allow you to set the exposure time to as long as you want? I want something in the order of several hours in order to take a picture that tracks the movement of the stars in the sky (saw this in an astronomy textbook once)

I own a Canon eos 400D and think it is the dog's gonads, anyone agree???
So easy to use yet it has so many features that are seen on the 30d, a more expensive camera.
Iknow the 400D is not a pro camera, but i do not think it should be classed as an entry level camera either as it sports some of the same features as a pro camera and it also has the new sensor cleaning system.
