Most disposable cameras are at least decent. Just make sure you get one that lets you keep the flash on. That's the only time I've had trouble with one (when the flash was supposed to be on and wasn't.)

And yes, at most film developing places you are able to request a cd w/pics on it--but it will probably cost you a couple dollars, but worth it!!

Have fun!

a disposable won't give you high quality photos, but they aren't crappy either. It's film, so it's film quality (which I still like more than digital). The draw back with a disposable is that you won't be able to zoom in AT ALL. So unless you have super close seats, your pictures will just be a whole bunch of the crowd and a little bit of the court at the bottom. I think all developers now offer film to CD options and they usually cost $3 or less per roll.

They sell a digital type disposable camera's. They have the same quality yet disposable. When you get them developed, then ask for them on a CD (Usually Kodak offers them on a CD for like $10.00 more!),

Enjoy your game and hope you get the quality pictures that you want. I do have a digital camera that is over four years old, but the pictures look great and it was a great investment, as I always forgot to get them developed and I can crop and fix the picture right on the camera! They do sell them cheaper, now, than when I bought mine, and when you can it would be a great investment!

Hugs~

to answer your first question...the quality of a disposable camera is much like that of a cheap reusable 35mm camera....these things USUALLY have cheap plastic lenses in them with a fixed focal length. they're ok if you wanna snap some memories outside and you're cheap...but if you want to use it indoors...even with all the lights the results are going to be very very poor..there's just not a good enough lens to capture enough light.

as far as getting photos on CD, yes, a lot of places now offer giving you your pictures on CD that with thier software (as they hardly ever use standard formats) will let you copy them into something you can send over the internet.

personally...i would invest in a digital camera, and a good one. don't go to wal-mart and buy the 4.1 megapixel camera they've got on the wall for $59.99...that's not a good camera, it has no lens. The prices have dropped and the cameras do more...i picked one up that took high quality photos and really nice TV quality digital video.

I heard about a professional photographer who uses disposables almost exclusively. It's not the camera, but the eye behind it that is important. Although you might have trouble getting past security with a camera. And yes, you can get cd's made.

that depends on what kind of disposable you get 400 is the best because it takes pics from a further distance. Ask if they can put them on a disc for you. If you have a scanner you do not need the disk you can scan them yourself.

they still take good pictures, sometimes better than a digi because alot of digis will have a lag on the shutter speed causing the pic to be blurry if the pic was taken in motion. yes, you can also put them on a disc in most places. i know wal-mart and cvs for sure
