We are talking about 2 different camera here. Me I prefer a digital because I can see the picture immediately and if it is a little dark you can fix it on your computer. It also depends on how good a camera you have and how many megapixels it has. As for a 135 camera you have to wait until you get the pics back to see if they are any good and then you can scan them to your computer and fix them up as well. When I travel or want to take pics I usually like to take 2 cameras . A 35 mm and a digital just to be on the safe side. Hope this info helps.

Flash will not be strong enough on neither film nor digi to light the stage. I would use film, unless you have a Fuji F30, which performs better at higher ISO, or a dSLR. Film grain is preferable to digi noise. Also bear in mind, the longer the zoom, the slower the lens will be, thus the more light you will need for exposure.

Whichever you use, turn off the flash, try to shoot during brightly lit moments, and hold the camera as still as you can.

you don't say where the concert is, but most concerts that i have been to do not allow cameras......you need to check with where you are going because if you get all the way up to the gate and find out that camera are not allowed, they do not hold them for you until after the concert....so your only options are throwing it away or going back to your vehicle.....and no concert allows flash.....hope this helps

You have to focus on light sensitivity. 400 speed would be fine and then without the flash of course.
