so the quetion is how to even save the pics..that are on the memory card..but dont show thru the reader on computer....and how are the memory cards formatted in the camera?

by accident i put my camera memory card the wrong way in.
+ it's stuck?

I was uploading some pictures last night i went into the SD Card folder and moved them across to MY Pictures file and then i deleted the items on the SD Card folder and took that off the screen and went to look at the pictures in My Pictures but they are not there i tried searching for the pictures but cannot find them, is there anything i can do which could help me find them? HELP!!! Oh and by the way i have a NIKON COOLPIX L3.

I have a Casio EX-S500 and traveling to Italy for 2 weeks. I have a 1GB card right now but I know I'm going to fill that up pretty quickly. What is the best solution? Buy more memory? Bringing my laptop is the last resort.

Hi there, I'm considering the purchase of one of the above and was wondering how people felt about one verses the other.

Which has better metering and optics? Which has better resolution? Color reproduction? Which performs more cleanly at higher ISOs (since I'll be doing 75% of my shooting in low-light situations and will thus be up around 800-1600 much of the time).

I was leaning toward the D200 (I've been a Nikon user for years), but wouldn't want pass up the Canon if it were truly that much wiser an investment...

Hey folks - I have a Nikon Coolpix L1 camera; we're going to a concert in a few days that doesn't allow photography, so if I'm going to get any photos, I need to sneak the camera in and I must be able to NOT use the flash. We're in row 38 or 39. What would be the best flashless setting to use that would still take fairly good shots from that distance away without making it too blurry? Your help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm trying to decide between 2 cameras,

one has 7.2 mega pixels and the other has 8.1 mega pixels "affected". would it be better to get the 7.2 or the 8.1...and if I decide on the 8.1, is an extra $200 really worth it?


also does anyone have any opinions on the two?
