I've had my Konica Minolta Dimage Z3 (5megapixel/ 10opticle zoom) for about 2 years/3000 photos but now the photos seem to have lost their sharpness and are often slightly out of focus or grainy (even with the same ISO) any ideas what may be causing this?

i have an exilim 7.2 megapixel camera.model ex-z70. When I take a video this white dot appears on the camera, and on my LCD screen it appears small. But when i upload it to my computer the dot it larger, and it really bothers me and takes away attention of what i captured. At first I thought it there was something on the lens ,but that wasn't it.Then when i switch into picture mode the dot disappears. It just started happening after its been fine for about 4 months. Please someone give me some advice or solution on what to do!!

I recently bought this camera but the user's guide sucks! I have a couple questions that I can't find the answers to on their web site.
1. How do you delete ALL the pictures on the camera at one time, without having to go through and delete each individually?
2. What does "format the memory stick" mean?
Thanks for your help!

About 2 wks ago I thought Dr. Sam mentioned a camera that had a larger sensor size than another would have a better image quality. I myself go by rating organizations.
A kodak C433 4 megapixels has sensor size 1/2.5",type ccd
A canon SD900 10 megapixels has sensor size 1/1.8(7.18x5.32) type ccd
I understand MP at 4 verses10, but where does size of sensor come into play?

I'd like to pick something up at best buy/circuit city if I can. The camera is about 2 years old. Will I have trouble finding a replacement?

SD Card was working fine in the Camera. I put it in the PC Slot, some virus got into it. Now, when I put in the SD card it is detected for a few seconds and then goes away. I have pictures for a trip to China and need to get them out of the SD Card so formating is not an option.

I know it's the age old question but I'm really struggling. I've read the usual reviews at dpreview etc. I have about £400- £450 to spend on a digital SLR.

Here's what I'm looking at.

Nikon D40

Nice looking but I think I would use features like AEB and I'd like the flexibility of using non AF-S lenses so this really isn't quite up there

Nikon D50

Probably my top choice at the moment, feels good in my hand, I can get a great deal on a kit with an extra 70-300 Tamron lens but I really really hate that small screen and I can't help but think of the better features on the 400D.

Nikon D80

I wish...my ideal camera but just too expensive

Canon 400D / Rebel XTi

I can get one of these with the basic kit lens (18-55) for about £450 and in my price range it's easily the best specced, but I just prefer the Nikon setup and the way it feels. Is the increase in spec compared to the D50 worth it?

I'm trying to find a very inexpensive digital camera that will interface with my Windows 98 computer. I recently bought a Philips keychain camera but had to return it. The packaging said that it worked with Windows 98, so I loaded the software and took a couple of test pics; I couldn't upload them, and that was when I learned that the software provided needed 98SE. Upgrading is not an option at this time, unfortunately. If anyone knows of a camera that definitely works with plain, ol' Win98 -- or if you have links to any sites that include OS specs in selection criteria -- I sure would appreciate your help. Thanks a lot!

i have asked this quetion a few times and i cant get a clear answer form anyone. I dont think the question im asking is that hard to under stand. maybe cause no body has ever done this before. i will ask it again but i will try to make it as clear and to the point as i can. first i will say what i want to do. i want to transfer a dvd that i have on my hard drive on my computer to the camera. I know this might sound strange but i think it would be cool to have something to watch if im not taking pics or shooting a video. the camera is a Olympus stylus 710 camera 7 megapixels. im sure this is possible as long as the video is in the right format. & if its not to long of a video. so now i need to know how to do this. im pretty sure the cameras video format is quicktime movie jpeg i think it can take up to 30 fps. so i need to know which converter program has this format and then how to transfer it to the camera i have a xd card for it im running out of room so i will end it

I am thinking about buying it. Is it a good camera? If so, what should I buy with it (ex. bags, memory, battery, ...)?

It's a Sony Cybershot 8.1 Megapixel camera, almost brand new. It worked great up until yesterday, when it ran out of batteries and died. But when it died, the lens was still out (I think that might be part of the problem?).

I recharged the batteries to full and put them back in, but my camera still refuses to turn on.

Anything I can do?

I doesn't have to hold a lot of pictures and I don't care if it's a little over $50 but it needs to be close. If could, could you give me the name of the camera and if that isn't possible a website? thanks.
