It's a Sony Cybershot 8.1 Megapixel camera, almost brand new. It worked great up until yesterday, when it ran out of batteries and died. But when it died, the lens was still out (I think that might be part of the problem?).

I recharged the batteries to full and put them back in, but my camera still refuses to turn on.

Anything I can do?

the same thing happened to my camera. i recharged the batteries and the next day, they were gone. just recharge batteries one or two more times, if it works its fine otherwise send teh camera to the company if it has a guarantee. if there is no guarantee, chech out the instructions book on the net. it will definitel y help u.

that also happened to me.. the lens was still out when the battery died.. so i charged the battery for like a minute... and put it back in my camera to turn it on, and make the lens go back... so i dont think that the lens is part of the problem...

i think that you should let the experts check the problem...
