I recently bought this camera but the user's guide sucks! I have a couple questions that I can't find the answers to on their web site.
1. How do you delete ALL the pictures on the camera at one time, without having to go through and delete each individually?
2. What does "format the memory stick" mean?
Thanks for your help!

The answer to your second question is also the answer to your first question!

"Format the memory stick" means to erase all the pics and folders on the memory stick, then set up the stick again for use in the camera.

Formatting is quick, and it is best for keeping good performance on the memory stick. Use it after uploading your pics to computer.

Good Luck

You can delete all your pics by going to your menu and see if you have a "delete all" option. My sony hasthis option. As or formatting the memory stick........Once you've downloaded your pictures to the computer or stored them on a CD or DVD, you simply put the card back in the camera and erase all the images. It's also a good idea to "format" the card every now and then. I do this about every two weeks. Think of formattting the card as being something like de-fragging the hard drive on your computer. It puts everything back in order and refreshes the memory stick.
