I'm relatively new to the digital photography dSLR world and I want to know more about f-stop, aperture, etc and how I can choose the right lenses and make the most of my new Rebel. Any online tutorials for a not entirely new beginner?

I haven't seen anything about professional line of lenses for Nikon. I didn't know if they have anything like the L-Series lenses.

In computer graphics and photography, high dynamic range imaging (HDRI) is a set of techniques that allow a far greater dynamic range of exposures (i.e. a large difference between light and dark areas) than normal digital imaging techniques. The intention of HDRI is to accurately represent the wide range of intensity levels found in real scenes ranging from direct sunlight to the deepest shadows.

Ive never used before - I inserted it - & the memory says it's still full. How do I get the X-D card to work? Never had one before - also first digital camera. Can someone tell me what I'm supposed to do - l looked at the instruction to the camera book - but it says nothing about X-D cards. I know I've inserted the card right - that's about it.

Hello there,

I'm looking for a bag to take my DSLR on holday with. I dont consider myself a pro photographer but do carry some bits and pieces. Planning to take my 400D SLR with 28-135 IS lens, chargers, cables and a couple of other lenses with me.

The lowepro slingshot (looking at the 200 and 300) seem to be ace bags and easy to live with and also have a space for additional bits and pieces (non camera related, suntan cream etc etc) but was wondering if anyone else had any good reccomendations for maybe a little less money.

Critical to have space for the above mentioned kit but also need space for other non camera related parephenalia.

any thoughts?

I chose two cameras that were in the same price range. Which one do you think is better? It seems like the Canon would be a better choice but I have no idea.

What is the least amount I can get away with, without the pictures looking pixellated when I get them printed out. And what is the ideal number of megapixels or is it just a case of as much as you've got?

I just want a basic camera. My Older Sony fell down and the lens block is gone. It was just 2 months old. So kinda feel bad to spend so much again. Just want to know how the canon A 430 compares to it?

I am upgrading my Canon 350D (any offers email me!) as I would like to take my hobby to the next level.

Should I opt for the 400D (and then get a better lens) or the 30D (with standard lens)?

As I have small hands the smaller 350/400D models don't prove a problem. I also prefer the lighter model but am willing to carry extra weight for better results! (Any other Canon Digital SLR's considered within that budget)

Also, where can I offload my 350D either through sell or swap other than ebay? Thanks!!

In the beginning, I was deciding on the Nikon D80 and the Canon Rebel XTi. I finally decided on the Nikon. Now this person listed the following links to say that the Canon is better. What do you think and which should I buy. I like the Nikon because of the big grip and weight but what about the links I saw that showed all Canons?

Now-a-days hundreds of digital cameras are available in the market at very affordable price. Their performance and results surely depend on the lenses that have been used in the cameras. How can I know which camera has the reasonably good lense? What shall I really look for when I purchase a reasonably priced digital camera? Is their any lense identification? Thanks in advance.

I know nothing about digital cameras and want one that is easy to operate and reasonably affordable. However, I also want one that takes good pictures. I want to take family and vacation pictures. Will any camera work with my Dell computer?

i understand a little about the whole photogenic thing but is there a more straightforward answer? like does it have to do with how light bounces off of every part of the person's face? or maybe certain shade of color in the skin works better in pictures than others? what is it exactly??
