I have no idea how much space I need for a CF card. I want a very dependable card, and a comfortable amount of space. Also whats a good case that can hold a flash and lense but isn't gigantic. THANK YOU

what is the compatibility list of Canon's EF Tele-extender of 1.4 and 2.0 . Does the 17-85mm IS or 28-135mm IS.

I would like to buy a LENS that is compatiable to these tele extenders so that i can expand my zoom level.

Please give me all the compatiable list.

I only have about $50 in my account and I'm not int the position to be spending it. What are some good reasons for them to let me get this camera?


P.S. - My sister is getting a new Toyota Camry this month and my parents can hardly pull that off. I'd be buying the camera for myself, I just need their permission. What are some good ways to go?

I have a Canon AE1 with a 55 mm,a Vivitar75-205 Macro Focusing Zoom and a Soligor 28-80 Zoom Macro lens all working perfectly.I want to buy a dslr compatable with these three lens what can you recommend.I am also considering buying a Used Fuji s5200,what can you tell me adout this fuji.Thanks

I recently got a new PowerShot S3 IS for my birthday. For some reason lately when I turn it on and then open the LCD screen, either the image will still stay in the view finder instead of going to the screen, or when i turn the screen fully around and then "close" it (so the screen is facing me still) the image will go to the view finder like if I had shut it so the actual front of the screen is hidden... if you get what I mean (I suck at explaining things).

I have only had this for like a week and hardly used it (so I haven't dropped it or anything like that - it just suddenly started to happen) and it cost around $700 so I hope there is nothing seriously wrong with it. Has this happened to anyone? Is it a power saving thing because the battery is running low? (I doubt that though because sometime I can push the screen a bit and it will flicker on and off as if something is pressing against something else telling the camera I have shut the screen)..

I already have a digital camera.I Love my camera it is a Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-H2.I put my pictures on my computer but I am wanting to put frames around my pictures and borders to make them look cool.Just do different and neat things with them.I was wondering if anyone new where I could download free software that I could do this.Or what I need to be able to do this with my pictures?I am poor so I don't have money for something real exspensive.

the price is much cheaper compare to circuit city/best buy, is it safe to buy it on ebay? the seller has a very good feedback.

i wonder how they can sell it at much lower price than retailers?

What would you recomend? I had a canon powershot sd400 as my last camera and while I was not crazy about the camera, I did not have problems using it. Also I will be taking many landscape and outdoor pictures as well as low light indow pictures. Please, any camera recomendations would be apreciated.

I wanted to buy a digital camera and i came down to three choices
1. nikon coolpix s3
2. Sony Cyber-shot DSC
3. HP Photosmart R927

My requirments are not too much i am just looking for an easy to operate camera which has good picture taking abilities and excellent zoom. I wanted to know if the nikon was a good choice over the other two.

i went to change the batteries and now it wont work at all. ive tried a bunch of brand new batteries and it didnt work. also there is a rattling sound in the battery compartment. can i fix it?

A friend called me down for citing Popular Photography as a source for reviews on cameras and lenses. I don't know who else does the extensive testing that they do. In the most recent issue, they addressed some issues with comparision tests, stating that they request equipment and if the manufacturer can not provide it in time for pres deadlines, it can't be in the comparison, but that makes sense.

What's your opinion of their tests for cameras and lenses?

Do you have any suggestions for other publications for high quality reviews?

I really have enough of my little Konica KD310z it's clearly not enough.... I like to photograph a lot of different things but mainly historical buildings, cityscapes, landscapes.....I guess, that all to do with the different lenses. But what camera would you advise me? I'm not expert but want a good margin to progress...
So far, I was told Nokon D40 or 80 (can't remember) or Canon E400 both for around £500. Are there any performant cameras, cheaper and probably more adapted to me and my needs?
