Windows XP or later already has the USB drivers to connect a camera without installing any software. Older versions of Windows require that you install some drivers.

You will have to start a process to copy the pics from the camera to to the computer.

Connect your camera and turn it on.
Open Windows Explorer and find your camera under My Computer.
Navigate to the Folder that holds the pic on the camera.
Right-Click the Folder and do Edit/Copy.
Navigate to My Pictures (or the folder where you want to store the pics).
Right Click the folder and do Edit/Paste.
WinXP will copy in your photos.

Good Luck

Yup. Just plug it in through the USB cable. After the "Found New Hardware" thing pops up, go to Start-> All Programs-> Accessories-> Scanner & Camera Wizard.

Most systems now do. Just use a USB cord (Type B), usually the company supplies one in the box. Use it to hook up the camera to your computer and if your using a Mac iPhoto should appear automatically. For windows I do not know what comes up.
