The F100 is a slightly watered down F5. The corresponding digital version is the semi-pro D200: $1400, 10 megapixels, 5 fps.
One step down is the D80 ($1000, 10 megapixels, 3 fps, less advanced AF and metering) and one step up is the professional D2Xs ($4200, 12 MP, 5fps in high rez or 8 fps in low rez mode, more advanced AF and metering.)
Here two in-depth reviews for the D200:

"Nikon F100 comparable", actually you can't compare apples and oranges, the best candidate rigth now is the Nikon D80.
