Have been shooting with this sony dsc-h5 7.2 meg camera for awhile and producing awesome daytime baseball game shots.Now I'm switching to night time,any hints as to getting the same crisp,blur free shots at night?

The playing field should be well lit for safety reasons - so you may not have as much of a problem as you anticipate. None the less, here are some obvious suggestions: boost the ISO and use a tripod.

Chuckie is right increase ISO. Like he said tripod. It sounds bothersome, but a good many years ago I use to take a tripod with me to Yankee Stadium when I lived there. Got some awesome photos using 35mm slr.

Yes, higher ISO will help. Also you need set fast shutter speed if you want to capture freeze action, otherwise you will get blur from motion.

use shutter modes.. with iso min.. 400.. and shutter atleast 1/60

if possible increase shutter speed....... depends on lighting. around

you will get grains. on pics. use noiseware software plugin in adobe photoshop..

remove grains from pic and use unsharp or sharper image filter. tc..

don't forget to do manual white balance in low light.. for sony its must

set iso to 400
no flash
let the camera choose the speed
make sure stabilizer is on
