Digital Camera?

Question

I have pics i want to download from my Samsung Digital Camera. Evertime i plug in the usb and when it says to computer i press ok and it switches the camera off. I know its not the batteries as I just put in new ones. Can anyone help me download my pics to the pc. Appreciate any help given. Thanks

Hmm. I used to be able to download them no problem when i put the usb into the pc they just automatically downloaded but now no. I dont have a memory card reader on my pc

Try switching the camera on after you have inserted the USB cable - Otherwise you could try using a card reader for your memory card.

Your camera should store the pics to a memory card. Buy a card reader (some for under £5) and use that instead. Make sure it will read your card (SD, CF, etc.) Check out your local PC stores or websites such as www.w2w.com. It will save you the hassle of plugging in your camera, changing the batteries, etc.

It's quite easy. All you need to do is take the memory card out of the camera. Next, find out if your computer has a memory card reader. If not, you can get one at your local electronic store. i.e. Best Buy, Circuit City, Radio Shack, etc. Anyway, the card readers are pretty inexpensive. Once you do that, just put the memory card into the reader and voila, pictures onto your computer.

get a card reader and plug that into your computer instead of the camera. Little fuss with the camera driver and less headache.

Plug the usb into the camera and the pc. switch on the camera. hey presto. no probs. try it.

Go to www.samsung.com and download the driver for that camera, they also have a support link in case that wont work. you will need the model number and serial number of the camers.
