I just bought a Kodak Easyshare C433 Camera and it was stolen. My question is; Is there a location where i could find the serial number for my Camera, so that i can report it stolen. I have everything that came with the camera, including the receipt., manuals, ect..Would the number be within these documents.. Thanks,

The box uaually has the serial number and the card that you send in for warranty has it. If you registered on-line, the card is still with your stuff. If you mailed itin, there is usually a second part that you are supposed to keep. If you registered on-line, you can probably go to the Kodak site and sign-in somehow and retrieve this information.

Some stores will have the serial number on the sales receipt (mostly big box stores like BestBuy, etc.), or they may have it in their system as part of their inventory tracking. If its not on the sales slip, check with the store. Its not likely that the serial number is in the manual, but if you have the original box, it will be listed on it - probably a label with a bar code and other info.
Good luck with this. The cops probably won't take this too seriously - your best bet is to shop the local pawn shops in a day or two. If you see a camera that is the same model, check it out closely. You might get lucky, I did with a computer that was stolen once. The pawn shop owner tried to talk me out of calling the cops, offering some extras if I just took the laptop back.
