I'm interested in buying a graphics card(pcie) for my pc. but i'm not sure which is good on a value for money and performance.
I'm from Singapore and these are the pricing for some of the cards from hardwarezone.com(prices quoted in singapore dollars):
sapphire radeon x1550 512mb ddr2-$146/$149
SAPPHIRE Radeon X1600PRO HDMI 256MB-$215/$235
SAPPHIRE Radeon X1650PRO 512MB GDDR3-$149/$190

My budget is within 200 bucks but will not mind paying a little extra for it. besides, i hope it can last for a long time before i consider changing.

Ok I'm on an older operating system and was wondering if it is wise for me to update it or just go ahead and in stall a newer operating system. Running Windows 2000 Pro version. Was wanting to update it to Windows Xp Home edition SP2. Right now I'm using an older computer but it runs great. I'm going to give you some info on what I'm using so you can tell me what is better choice to go with. I have been told not to update if the following reasons it is faster to use 2000 bc it is used for server type computers and office type is it better to stay with it or go ahead and up date to new one. What is better choice.

System Model 6288BVU
System Type X86-Based PC
Processor x86 Family 6 model 6 stepping 5 GenuineIntel ~528MHZ

On a dell laptop, you can hit Function & F8 to toggle your laptop display with a connected projector. But what if your F8 key has quit working? Is there a software program I can use to toggle between the laptop screen and the projector screen? As of now I can't display my laptop screen on the external projector. Any tips?

I recently bought a EVGA 7950GT KO Superclocked 512mb Video Card. I know this is a higher end card, but i still seem to be having problems getting high settings on some simpler games. I know when i first installed it i had some power issues, and had to buy another power supply. When i first installed it said it needed to reduce quality to make sure my system was not damaged. I now have a new power supply, so how do i see/ makesure my video card is running at "full power" as it were? Thanks!

I bough a 2.5 HDD Box Casing to transfer data from Laptop HDD to my Desktop PC.

No manual available.

It include a USB2.0 cord but I can not understand the cord. USB one side cord is as normal one jack(Which Insert into the USB port of Computer and HDD Box) is here. But another side two USB jacks(Which Insert into the USB port of Computer and HDD box).

I tried the two sided jack for computer. I input both jack to two USB port and other Side with the HDD Box. But no sign of Hardware.

I used One by One as normal but also no sign of Hardware Found.

I also try to adjust Jumpar but here also fail.

Due absence of Manual I can not install this Box with my PC and all of my knowledge have been the end.

I am using WindowsXP Profesional with SP2 and Machine is PIII

Laptop HDD is ATAPI and Laptop is PIV 2.40 GH. Laptop is out of ourder so I can not setup LAN too. But want some data from LAPTOP.

Pleas Help me.

I have a HP Compaq, pre-made and such.
I have one really annoying question, I have a 24pin socket on the motherboard for power but it came with a 20pin connector in that socket when I got it, it does work, so it obviously is doing its job.
I have a better psu than the one that came with it on order, and that has a "20+4pin" connection for both types of motherboards.
When it comes and I install it should I use the 24pin connection or should I just plugin the 20pin connector.

And what do the extra 4 pins do in these motherboard power sockets anyway?

Thanks,

Daniel
