You cannot unless you format the entire drive, then reinstall the OS. You can do this by putting in the installation disk of Windows. On the drive selection, there is a "format" option. Click it and you will format the disk. You are now ready for a clean install. *Precaution* Formatting the disk will delete ALL data from the hard drive Hope this helps!

adding on to the last post with the step by step, when you start from your xp boot cd and it gets to the part with formatting and partitioning your harddrive, you'll want to delete your old partition first, then create a new with and format it as ntfs(best format to put it in,wont have to worry about other settings later). Then after you create it thats the one you want to load xp onto. Enjoy a fresh new start and be sure to backup all your data you want to keep before you format because its all erased when you do!

so you have the xp bood disk do you want to install windows back on again?

if so

1 insert the disk
2 restart your computer and enter setup
3 look for a peice called boot priority
change the first boot device to CD-Rom
exit and save changes
4 you computer restarts the post boot screen and says "to
boot from cd/dvd press any key" so hit a key
5 the disk will check your computer and say about install or
repair just hit enter to install
6 choose the disk drive and press f to format
7 choose a partition e.g. ntfs or fat32
8 choose the disk to install onto
9 then the cd copies files onto your hard disk to install
windows
10 follow the installation instructions onscreen.
