my friend has DVD SHRINK so i wanna get it 2...but he has 2 drives he puts the dvd on top and the blank in the bottom....so i wanna know if you can use DVD SHRINK with a combo drive...???

Yes, all you need to use DVDShrink is a DVD rom drive. if you have a writer and writing software, then you can also burn dvds with it. If you have a combo drive as you say, then that's enough to use it.

You heed a DVD-RW
You have to have the capability to read and write DVD Media.
SO if you are trying to copy Commecial DVD Movies I suggest you do some research that covers
Software
Media
Speed
Optical Drive in your machine
Just in passing it may be of interest that copying them is against the law, and thats the reason we can't give you the actual particulars. Google the information, You need to check with your friend .
