I am running a p4 3.0 Northwood HT processor with three gigs of ram, 2x1gb sticks and 2x512mb sticks, all dual channel and pc3200. Its all matching brand name (corsair) but I haven't really seen a speed increase since I put in the extra gb (only reason I bought it was because a friend was selling it for only $30). My question is, is that much difference to have the extra gig, my boot time is still the same and so is my load time on all my games give or take a few seconds. I have another friend thats willing to pay $60 for the gig and I think ill be better off just selling it, what do you guys think.

I get an error message saying the system needs to create a user partition and then another one saying it can't create the user partition and can't restore the computer. Any ideas why the restore CD has this problem.

just got my pc back from the pc stor and now ever since i cant seem to get the speakers working,he told me there is a sound card in it,just to goto msi.com.tw and install the drivers,which i did and still nothing,on the device manger is says they are workin properly,so can anyone tell me as to why the sound isnt working,i also tryed windows update,a friend told me,but still no good,and a dout its the speakers cause its a new monitor wit the intergrated speakers,iv also tryed other speakers,just hope someone might know what im doing wrong,thanks to all,

First, my keyboard went mad, half the keys stopped working. Then, when i would turn it on, it would say something about the floppy drive not working. Then one day it just wouldn't turn on. The fan doesnt even start. Someone suggested replacing the power supply. Is this common with eMachines?

i have a new computer and it has,for the most part,been working just fine.The other day i turned on my computer and my keyboard wasn't working.I've checked to see if it was plugged in properly and it was.I checked the status of the keyboard and it stated it was in working condition.I'm some what confused ,please help!

Ok i am going to buy a dell inspiron 1520 soon and will be getting the 8400m gs with it. I was just curious if anyone has experience with the 8400m gs. I will be doing some gaming, but i already have a good desktop computer, that i will be using for most of my gaming. I just want to be able to play most games with a reasonable level of detail.
