Ok i am going to buy a dell inspiron 1520 soon and will be getting the 8400m gs with it. I was just curious if anyone has experience with the 8400m gs. I will be doing some gaming, but i already have a good desktop computer, that i will be using for most of my gaming. I just want to be able to play most games with a reasonable level of detail.
laptop specs:
cpu-intel 2 core duo t7300 2.0ghz
ram-2 gig ddr2 667
os-vista home premium

I recommend the next highest video card. the 8600GS. But the 8400GS should be okay for some gaming. The 8600 will be a lot more shiney though!

yes it can play most games, as well as some next-gen games. its a good card. those r good specs 4 ur laptop. 2gb of memory will help a lot in vista.
