Basically i have a very slimline case-Dell 5150c(same size as C521)- and i want to upgrade my graphics card. Shall i recase my computer or buy a low profile graphics card?

i just got a new stystem asus striker extreme
core 2 quad Q6600
2 gb ram
ocuk psu 700w

i have all new except my old radeon 9200 se.
can i still run fear and rainbow six vegas but just have it on low quality. my quad core has been overclocked to only 3.2ghz so it should still play shoudldnt it

I am just wondering if you could go online and scan documents in the memory stick without having to install the antivirus in the pc as my work pc only detect and automatically delete the infected files instead of cleaning.

I have this computer and I want to swap this old hard drive I have with the one that's currently in the computer.

Will it work? The hard drive from the old computer isn't as built up as the computer I'm putting it in.

I'm going to upgrade the newer dual cores processor called AMD Opteron 185 2.6GHZ for my gaming computer.

My currently gaming computer's specification
Operating Software: Windows XP Professional (Installed with SP2)
Motherboard: Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe
Processor : AMD Athlon 64 3200 2.0Ghz (Overclocked 2.2Ghz)
Memory: 1 GB Consair Twinx XMS 3200C2 DDR3
Graphic Card: 2X EVGA Nvidia Geforce 6800 GS 256MB GDDR3 PCI-Express on SLI (When SLI enabled, 512MB of video memory)
Hard Drive: 2X Maxtor DiamondMax 7200RPM 8MB Cache SATA (one for Windows XP Professional Software and other one is for paging file)

When I upgrade AMD Opteron 185 instead the old one (AMD Athlon 64 3200) Do you think my computer can play faster on high-end games like S.T.A.L.K.E.R , FSX, Gothic 3, Oblivion, or other high-end games on very high-quality setting?

I see pics of these things all the time in articles that talk about computer processors. They're shiny, gold, and holographic looking. About 18 inches in diameter. They're always being help by people in a clean room. I guess the rectangles have something to do with chips. I think they have something to do with the development process.

i have an ati radeon express 1100 series graphics card that came with the computer and 895 mb ram (graphics card takes up some ram) and want to increase my frame rates for games (im running only 15-20 on cs: source, low quality) should i consider buying a better graphics card? or is there anything else i can do to increase frame rates?

I got a bag as a present that can carry all or most of my personal gadgets (WD 160GB hard drive, PDA, iPod nano, headphones, digital camera). The proble is that is has 4 magnets (2 on the body 2 in the flap) and I consider them to be relatively strong. Can this erase my HD//Flash Memory, MSDuo, SD card, or camera?

hey... yesterday my PC started run really really slow.. also when i was using the usual programs, the colors were changed... i restarted it and i got this messege that one of my disks needs to be checked and 'the type of the file systems is NTFS' ... the check finished succesfully. but today i noticed it agains starts runing slowly. some of the colors were changed again (the menu was black... the windows were with different colors) i restarted and it seems ok. some days ago i had these messeges for low virtual memory. i made some virus checks and it seems ok. does anyone have an idea what it could be... thanks

hi, im going away to college in a week, and i just got my new laptop for school. its a hp pavilion dv6000. i play a few games for the pc, but my laptop has an integrated video card so it dosnt run games well at all. the reason i cant bring my pc to school is because it will take up to much room in my small dorm. (monitor, mouse, keyboard, ect...) i was curious if there was a way where i could just bring my pc box, and hook it up to my laptop so that it just uses my laptop screen and keyboard?

Recently I purchased Digital Camera, Mobile Phone & MP3 Player,all these comes with USB2 & my computer is USB1 hence iam unable to connect these devices or trasfer datas to my computer.

OS: Windows 2000

I need to trasfer datas into my PC from these devices. Please help if you know any solution :)

At first my computer wont start up so i decided to rewire everything (which usually works and did this time too) but when i plugged the printer to the AVR the wires started to spark the it turned off again. Nothing smelled but when i tried to open the power on CPU again it wont open. Please help i had all my files, projects and reports on it. PLEASE!!!

So I just bought a laptop with a Core 2 Duo (Merom) which runs at speed of 1.73 Ghz. But my own Pentium 4 (Prescott) runs at 2 something Ghz. Isn't a Core 2 Duo suppose to be faster than Pentium 4?
