At first my computer wont start up so i decided to rewire everything (which usually works and did this time too) but when i plugged the printer to the AVR the wires started to spark the it turned off again. Nothing smelled but when i tried to open the power on CPU again it wont open. Please help i had all my files, projects and reports on it. PLEASE!!!

sorry, rewire, AVR, wire spark? I could not understand that.

Do you have a spare power cord that you can connect from the mains directly to the pc? Try that and see if the fan at the back of the casing (where the power cord plugs in) works when you switch on the pc.

But I think you need someone to check it out for you.

You rewired the thing? I have no idea what you mean by that, because you don't (usually cant, due to printed circuit boards replacing wires way back...) rewire computers... the only wires are the cables to drives, and to LEDs and fans and the like...

luckily, unless you had fun with magnets, your hard drive is ok. Just set it up as a slave in another computer, and get your files...

Your motherboard or power supply probably got fried. Your hard drive with your files is probably still fine. You'll have to take it to get repairs. They can unplug the hard drive and plug it into a different computer to extract the files.

sounds like u may have blown the power supply can you tell me more about your computer and what you where rewiring how old it is and stuff and also no fear your data is most likely safe just need to know someone like me to extract it from your hard drive

Yikes. take it to a pro hopefully its just a bad power supply.
