Please don't say ebay. I can't stand them. I am looking for an external hard drive to back up my laptop and an ipod to replace the one I lost. Any help with bargain hunting is appreciated?

if your in america then www.newegg.com for your external hard drive and www.apple.com for your ipod, I know they are a bit more expensive brand new but then at least you have peace of mind that you will get support and or replacements etc

For computer hardware, check out:

http://www.pricewatch.com

Different sites are indexed, so read the reviews, but you can usually score a bargain!

For iPods, you can get them a few bucks cheaper (and usually no tax) from http://www.pcmall.com, (also MacMall) or even Amazon.
