It will have a GREAT possibility of damaging your hard drive.
Your PDA shouldnt since it uses flash memory.
WILL not damage your iPod , as long as it is not the video iPods, those have hard drives and are/is possible to be damaged.
PSP will not be damaged, since it uses flash memory
Digital Camera will not, since it uses flash memory.
Headphones already contain magnets.

I very much doubt they would harm the SD card or any device of yours which lacks a hard drive. The ipod, however, could possibly be harmed. If the magnets were really huge, I'd also say to watch out for your camera because it has small moving parts . . . but given that the magnets are small I would guess that the risk is lower. Anyway, if you have another bag, use it instead.

Hi, it would have to be an extremely strong magnet, very close to the hard drive and without any metal casing in the way. If it's a normal desktop machine with a steel case, the case will shield the insides from any stray magnetic field. Even a plastic cased laptop would need a very strong magnet in just the right place to cause any trouble. There is no way on earth it could damage the memory, short of bashing the memory with the magnet! If the computer still works, forget it. (Electronics engineer & designer).

Magnets are bad for HardDrives as those are using magnetic layer to store information. The flash memory is different. While very strong magnetic field can affect and corrupt data on the Flash Drive, I doubt you magnets are strong enough for that. If you have gadgets with Flash memory only you should be fine.

Sure does. But, I would doubt because the magnates you described might not be strong enough to damage all your electrical applicants. My mobile phone holder has a magnetic clip as well and it was issued with the phone.
But, if you walk into a Cat Scan room, surely it would destroy every gadgets you have.

It's a possiblity but I think it may be highly unlikely. Anything is possible though when dealing with magnets and electronic devices. So be careful when using the magnetic bag.

Yes it is possible for magnetic fields to wipe out or currupt data on these devices..Depending on the strength of the field. usually though the devices themselves do have some sheilding against this so unless you put the card or device directly on the magnets then you should be ok....

It is a definitely possible. I would STRONGLY advise that you keep your sensitive data away from magnets. I don't think a bag magnet would be powerful enough to hurt them but better safe than sorry!

They can completely ruin your gadgets! Go return the bag and get another with no magnets!

Generally speaking, you would need an EXCEPTIONALLY strong magnet to damage you hard drive or other devices. My best guess is that you are pretty safe.
