if you want to play game which based on directX 9, x800 is better. but if you want directX10 you have to choose geforce 8500

Yes most of the nvidia 7xxx series beats that card, and pretty much all of the 8xxxx series beats almost all radeon cards.

i agree with above. i strictly use nvidia. but look at what your chipset is. for compatibility stay with whomever your chipset is made.
