I have know idea what this means unless it to do with what operating system I run...vista. Ive searched for help & think I maybe need a patch? however I can not go to manufacturers web site as dont know who that is & there is no clue on device...HELP!

it is a DBT-T USB digital HDTV TV tuner recorder stick/dongal that I'm trying to install

you should have stated the device and model .. but yeah vista doesnt like alot of things so its normal ..

I am not running Vista, but in XP, you don't need to set up anything in order to open a usb drive. When you insert the device, it automatically shows what is on it and you choose and it will open to the program on the hard drive. Good luck.

I get that message too, since I have parallels windows (so i can run PC on my imac g5, anyways i solve this by turning off which OS i don't want. as an example if I want the flash drive for my MAC, i turn off the pc side
