I'm interested in buying a graphics card(pcie) for my pc. but i'm not sure which is good on a value for money and performance.
I'm from Singapore and these are the pricing for some of the cards from hardwarezone.com(prices quoted in singapore dollars):
sapphire radeon x1550 512mb ddr2-$146/$149
SAPPHIRE Radeon X1600PRO HDMI 256MB-$215/$235
SAPPHIRE Radeon X1650PRO 512MB GDDR3-$149/$190

My budget is within 200 bucks but will not mind paying a little extra for it. besides, i hope it can last for a long time before i consider changing.

Better consider the 8600GT, especially the factory overclocked versions. 8600GT is faster, has better HD video capability and a DX10 card supporting Shader 4.0. Your choices are DX9 cards that only support Shader 3.0.

The Radeon X1650Pro is a very good card and will do just about anything you want, if it possible to get a different brand name other then Sapphire i recommend doing so, Sapphire is toward the low end of the quality scale with ATI cards. But if you cant get another brand they will work nonetheless. If you want to hook your computer to an hdtv then the x1600Pro with HDMI would be the way to go, but if you just have a regular computer monitor then just go for the x1650pro.

I recommand GeForce since you want Radeon, IT IS FINE. :-) Saphire Radeon X1650PRO 512MB DDR3 will be better than the other's you listed. Use the HDMI one only if you have a HDMI monitor, or else it will be wasting money with a card that have less performance.

I took at look at that page and I also agree with that guy up above that you should get the Geforce 8600GT, it will beat the other cards that you have listed for the same price! Also you will be getting more bang for your buck!

if you really want the video card to last a long time, get a couple of cpu fans to put inside the computer casing to cool down the temperature within.
