I think it is when 2 of your current soft wears are clashing and they dont work well with each other, i had it with my Kodak and epson, took ages to work it out, on the blue screen of death there should be a unique code, take down the code and then search on the internet cuz each code means a different soft wears are clashing, does that make sense?

Please re-post and describe your specific problem, with the name of the specific program you think is causing the problem and all error messages (if applicable) and a list of your PC components, and operating system.
If your machine hasn't completely given up the ghost, reboot the darn thing to see if you can re-create the problem, taking careful notes on everything YOU DO along the way. Write down any error messages you encounter and don't leave out any of the "techno-gobbledy-****".
Then, we can try to help.
OPTIONAL Screen Capture:
Even better, capture a screen shot of every error message you get. If you don't already have a favorite screen capture program (like MWSnap), use the free one inside Windows:
Press the CTRL + PrtScr key (Next to F12) to capture the Desktop (ALT + PrtScr to capture the current window) to the Clipboard, then, open Programs > Accessories > Paint, select Edit > Paste. Then, save the file to the Desktop, with a descriptive title such as "Error MessageFromWord01" and be sure to save as “JPG”.
That way, you can send us links (from Flickr, or Photobucket for example) so we can see for it ourselves.

Gee < it is so long since I last saw one of these I actually miss them.
They are caused by one thing only - WIndows , the most badly written piece of software the world has ever seen.
As others have suggested - move across to Linux and you will never see this again , also no more viruses , trojans , adware etc.

BSOD is often caused by system instability. It could be hardware or software related. Check the most recent ones you installed when the problem started to crop up.

Check this(?) -----
Turn on your computer and hit F1 to go into bios setup screen.
Look at all your settings ---
Primary Master (H.D.) --- is it showing up ?
Could be a bad H.D. going out on you --- plus several other issues.

Try to think if you had just installed something new when this started to happen.
I know it happened to me when something non-compatible ( at least, my pc didn`t like it ) was installed.
Uninstall the latest thing & see if that works.
