I recently got a new video card: HIS Radeon X1950 Pro IceQ3 Turbo 512MB/256MB AGP for my computer and i am getting screen artifacts when i am playing 3d games (e.g. little colored dots all over the screen and polygons stretching and tearing...) and the only way to get rid of them is to reboot. I've tried both drivers from the ATI website and hisdigital and it still happens. According to the software tool, the temperature runs pretty low (it usually stays below 50 C), so maybe it isnt an overheating problem? Keeping my case open with a room fan blowing into it seems to reduce the occurance though. Also, my power supply is 350W, a bit lower than recommanded i believe - maybe that is the problem? If so, will underclocking my card help? If so, how?

ive just bought a mac and i love it, i think its so much better than a pc and i would never go back to a pc, a mac is just so much more convinient and user friendly. mac or pc?

We use laptops at home at the moment and always have used laptops or PC's. I was wondering if it's worth getting a iMac or macbook. I tried using a mac a couple of days ago and found it easy to use. We would also keep the laptops so things like compatibility issuses and inferier gaming issues dont matter.
1.Do Mac's generally run smoother than PC's i.e. less crashing, less viruses, and better multi tasking
2.Are Mac's better for doing things with pictures, movies, music etc...
3.Is there much difference between a PC and a Mac appart from the desktop and design.

i bought a new computer with vista on it and i have a newish laptop with xp on it, it says its vista compatable so i know it would work but i never got a windows vista cd with my new computer so i was wondering if it was possable to take that vista on my new computer and put on my laptop?

I used to play World of Warcraft with a Geforce 6800 (128MB). I played with high Video settings, and I got a maximum 35fps average was 20fps.. Now I play with a Geforce 7300 GT (512MB), and I still have the same amount of fps. It isn't a big concern for me, but I'd like to know how to get my Video Card running at its fastest speed.

This is a socket A athlon, currentlly stock at 600 MHz. There is no option in Bios, and clockgen won't do it. I don't need a tutorial in the risks, I've done this a thousand times before, but this board is REALLY getting the best of me. And now everytime I insert it to a port on any computer it says that I can insert the USB on a faster port but my ports are jsut fine but I think that the 2.0 components were damaged is there any software that help fix it or at least try too? if you don't have that disk any more but you bought windows xp that u can put on it. normally i would press F2 at start up and change the boot up sequence, but that's on xp and i couldn't find a place 2 do that on windows me. i want to get rid of everything and just start fresh w/ windows xp
