Core 2 Duo of course. Pentium D and EE (dual core) are old tech, slower and consume more power (HOTTER). Benchmarks here:

Clearly, the high clocked but old tech Pentiums bite the dust (at the bottom of the heap).

performance wise, core2duo because of the efficiency of the core architecture of which it has been built. its temperature and power consumption is also way lower than the pentium d which is basically just two p4 bound together.
