Go to Control Panel Add/Remove Programs and delete all the programs you don't need. Then defragment the drive and use a quality registry cleaner. Ace Utilities is an excellent program for doing this.

i would start by going into "start control panel add/del software" and delete all old programs you know you never use. then use the disk cleanup tool which will get rid of old stuff and finish all that off with a disk defrag. it should add some usable space to hard drive.

go to Windows Explorer (winkey+e) then right click on the C: drive then do a disk cleanup , then you'll want to go to the control panel and to add remove programs...unistall any programs you dont use anymore....

That should get you some space. also if you have file sharing apps you may want to delete any music or movies you dont use.

Dump files you don't need, transfer some to dvds, run Norton or something on it.
