is there any way to fix this.... i have recently been given a gateway notebook that has that notebook thing where you can write on the screen, but every time i turn the screen to make it be in the notepad position (turning it around and then lowering it) the pen wont write, it works until it gets to a certain position. anyone know how to fix this?

I have a desktop pc, but want to also run a laptop. I am completely unaware how to set up wireless connections (only roughly aware of what it is!), what do i need to buy to set this up and how do i do it? But please, i need really plain english (back to school) answers! :) Thanx!

The DVD-RW drive in my laptop is faulty. I've got enough computer hardware know-how to reckon that I can buy a replacement drive on ebay and install it myself. Only I haven't worked with laptops before - are DVD drives in them easy enough to access, take out and replace?

And how do I know which model to get? Will the model of DVD drive be specific to my laptop, or will one model of drive be used in all kinds of laptops?
So shall I search by laptop model, or shall I find out what model of DVD drive it needs?

I know you are thinking SeSe you are at school but no I am at home using it and we have 4 people in my household that use our own computer so getting a laptop for me is great. I have a Dell Inspiron 9100..The charger broke and the battery ran out.. I now have a new charger but the laptop only works while laptop is plugged in. I get a error message on boot up saying 'charging from a 90w adapter' and something about not for optimal charging..... any ideas anyone??
