need help with my gateway laptop- one note, notebook thing?

is there any way to fix this.... i have recently been given a gateway notebook that has that notebook thing where you can write on the screen, but every time i turn the screen to make it be in the notepad position (turning it around and then lowering it) the pen wont write, it works until it gets to a certain position. anyone know how to fix this?

its been like this for 2 days, rebooted several times, still doesnt work

its still under warranty, for the monitor and the computer itself, would the warranty cover the cable?

reboot ur comp if that dont work just go to bestbuy or some other compstore

sounds like the cable is damaged between screen and notebook, may try e-bay to find one
