Reviews and Ratings of computer related stuff is at http://www.cnet.com
Avoid DELL, as many reviewers think that it is OK to have exploding batteries. Avoid Dell as some reviewers think that it is OK to have poor customer service and poor tech support.
Go with Toshiba, their reliability is high, their tech support of fast and friendly.
I recommend that you visit a retail store like Staples or Costco, where the return policy is friendly. Laptops can have problems when they are NEW, but you do not want to be stuck waiting for it to be repaired.... you just might have to return it. You see, a retail store that does accept returns will only SELL the good stuff. It is costly for them to accept a return, but Stables and Costco always smiles and give you no hassle. Some stores charge a restocking fee, or simply WILL NOT return a born dead computer.
Good luck and Happy Computing!

Yeah, actually you go to yahoo! and type in computers and a whole lot of computers pop up. You can search the prices for what they're being sold for (Stop right there is you need a new computer) or you can click in the bottom left hand corner a little button that says compare. But you know these have been used, i've bought 2 already and i must confess they're in fabulous condition. But you kind of have to see the picture of the computer. Once i drove out to houston for a computer with no picture and they handed me a candle. Yeah but that's my life and you can do what you want.

Macs are cool searching pcs. The have a really basic to comprehend operating device, inspite of the indisputable fact that the priority is you do not consistently get the most for you money. computer's are more most cost effective, and also you may want to get some impressive searching pcs from organizations, besides as getting more moderen factors which will make your computing gadget run speedier, longer, and extra effectively than Macs. in my opinion Macs are extremely overpriced for what you have become and that i'd be at liberty to take each person up on the project. i might want to assert abode windows.
