A song is about 4Mb on average,

So about 8 - 10.

Since a song's average size is 3 MB, it would mean that your 32-MB chip can save about 10 songs. That's too small if you want to spend a lot of time hearing songs. You'd better get an iPod which can keep about 15,000 songs. I know they're not cheap, but they're worthy! ;)

It depends on the quality of mp3 used, but I usually reckon on 1Mb per minute - so that's about 32 minutes.
