I pressed ctrl+f11 but nothing works! and I don't have a recovery cd help! mine was made in 2004 what should I do if a virus attacks my computer? Just incase!

i tried moving and clickin the mouse but nothing happened then i pressed keyboard keys but still nothing and this is the second time it happened!

I was wondering if it would be ok to connect two UPS's to the same PC in parallel. So if one fails the other one would keep powering the PC. But both the UPS's are different models.

i really got my eye set on a best buy cpu (a1730n) i might buy this cpu around mid july. I've heard bad things about vista, all i wanna know is u think it will be bug free mid july because i don't have any custom cpu repair/ build shops near my area and i do not have a credit card to make online purchases.

I recently added an external lacie firewire disk to my mac mini g4 and since then my mac seems to like to crash every few hours which is very annoying, the drive seems to ru quite warm so i have placed it away from the computer but that hasnt helped. Any clues on how to fix this from anyone are most welcome?
My computer is a basic 1.25Ghz G4 Mac mini with 512M of Ram and the hard drive is a lacie 250Gb firewire - it was the model that was designed to sit under the Mac Mini. I am currently booting Mac OS X.4.9 from the external drive.

I have had my computer for 3 months and for the first 2 it worked fine. Now it only boots correctly about 70% of the time and when I do actually log on I will usually get the error "STOP: 0X000000F4". After I get this error once and manage to boot my computer successfully again I do not get the stop error again.

When the computer fails to boot the erorr message usually reads something like "Failed to find correct boot device".

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hey guys, i just bought this sweet pc from best buy. It coasts 750$ and the only flaw in it is that i just found out that the power supply of this pc was 300Watts ! . Neways.... i saw this video card that i wanted to get but it requires 350 Watts. Should i still buy the card or do i need to get a new power supply?
And if so, is it easy to replace the power supply/ do u need to replace your motherboard inorder for the new psu to work?

My PC was fine until I accidently pressed the RESET switch on the case, Now my PC won't bootup I have placed the WINDOWS XP disk into the DVD-ROM drive I do have the WINDOWS VISTA disk but I have not much Ram to install WINDOWS VISTA I finally I installed XP and It Still won't boot up It says "NO BOOT RECORD FOUND" please help on a solution on this problem

after checking i found that it show x86 family microprocessor of intel is my intel processor is right one............please guide me...........!or.

with all this hardware and windows xp home licence versin my system is very slow both with internet and without the internet.....! even working offline its too much slow.....when i open start-run-msconfig then what i found in SYSTEM.INI ;msconfig ; for 16-bit app support

what does all this mean ..............is this the reason due to which my system is running very slow..please guide me
should i changed it to the 64-bit ap support or 32-bit app support.....................! means it might be posible that after this my system will run a bit faster.........am not sure .please guide me.............

There are two processors I am looking at for a gaming computer. Either a Core 2 Duo (e6400 or 6600, not sure yet) or a AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ Windsor. Either one will be overclocked, and be used for a pretty demanding gaming. (such as Oblivion) I am also trying to keep a lower budget. Thanks! (if neither sound good, I am open to suggestions)
