Man, first, if u want to change ur power supply, u don't have to change your mother board! But this only if you MBis a ATX factor & ur PSU same! In order to keep ur MB and buy that Video card, u should first check if ur MB have the interface required for video card(AGP, PCI-e, PCI-e 16x etc). If it has, then go ahead, buy the videocard and a new psu at least at 500-600W to be sure ur system will not run on low power!

it will run the video card with no problem with the 350 watt power supply, if it's an AGP video card slot there is already enough power for it figured in. Besides some older power supplies that were rated 350 were truly 350 watt supplies with a duty rating that was very high, like 70% regardless if you have connection for it try it first, if you have problems they replace the power supply.

300 watts are very low i think,u can use a 500 or 600 watts power supply,u dont need to replace motherboard, its very easy to install just remember and mark the places of the power cables going into the motherboard, remove the old psu,put the new one in install mother board power cables then power up ur drives.thats it......

The power supply is no big deal in the scheme of the PC...It would cost about $50 to replace...The motherboard, on the other hand is like the nerve center of the computer...If that has to be replaced, you might as well get a new computer...

No...as long as it is the same form factor...like atx...the only thing is your going to have to carefully take all connectors from the board and components off and than take out your trusty phillips screwdriver and remove the power supply and put a new one in and than re hook up all the power cables from your hardware and turn it on and your good to go...go with a good power supply...like antec or such and atleast 500 or more watts!
