right now i'm using a copy version of window xp professional and i wonder if its ok for me to install sp2 by doing "Auto Upgrade" and if its not is there anyway that i can get it installed safely without having any problem?

No, you won't be able to. Not only that, but you won't be able to get important security updates, and eventually MS will detect your copy is illegal by first warning you, and then shutting your OS down. Your computer is at a big risk without a genuine copy of XP

The installation process verifies that your copy is valid. I can't see how you could skip this step in the installation, unless you have the Microsoft master key.

In all likelihood, you can't install SP2 over a bootleg copy.

you could do a search on bittorrents or newsgroups for sp2 as you won`t be able to get it from microsoft
