after checking i found that it show x86 family microprocessor of intel is my intel processor is right one............please guide me...........!or.

is there any utility tool for checking the intel desktop processors authenticity .means exactly about the right info about the processr .wheather its a genuine one or not..and other such informations..............!

all you have to do is go under control panel and double click on the system icon in the bottom row. the frist page that pops up lists what processor and how much memory in in your computer.

what it says on mine when I do it is AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5200+ 2.61 GHz

so no need to download uinwanted junk in your computer if you just want to know if its what its suppose to be.,

Core 2 Duo is still x86.
