Like instead of the way that your icons and desktop look in Windows, can you change it to look and function like a Mac?

Is this good enough for photo/video editing? Or is it too small or slow to handle it?

Please don't assume anything, like the case has USB Ports in it.

Thanks!

I have heard with Vista's first release it will have a lot of bugs. After the service pack comes out to fix those is the service pack1 free? How much (estimated) will it cost?

I'm buying a new computer today from Dell. It comes with the new Windows Vista. Is there a lot of bugs? Is this a bad time to buy a new computer?

I'm not racist, let's get that clear, but I have been on the phone for THREE hours telling this moron the same thing over and over again, I have a HP Pavillion Slimline PC and I upgraded to Vista, I decided I didn't like it, and wanted to go back to Windows XP Media Center Edition, and the recovery partition got deleted by Vista, and the Recovery Disk that I ordered doesn't work.... They keep tellign me to order recovery disk, I have them in my hands!!! WHY DO COMPANIES BASE THEIR MOST POPULAR NUMBERS (CUSTOMER SERVICE PLACES) OVER SEAS!! I know to save money but your on the phone twice as long, which makes the bills about the same as a shorter call within the US.... AHHH!!

I would like to upgrade my 512MB PC-4200 (256MB + 256MB; 2 slots) to 1GB but have heard that it's preferred with two/paired 512MB instead of one 1GB. What is the reason? Does it perform better? Also, can I combine 256MB with 512MB?

i currently have a HP pavilion a1500la, XP, 512 RAM expandible to 2 GB, celeron 3.2GHz, my question is:can i have a 1 GB memory stick and 1 512 or do they both have to be the same? I do know that the memory needed is a pc-2 4200 DDR2 SDRAM. Also is it possible to upgrade from a celeron to a pentium, as i have been told that celeron are lower end processors;and if it can be done what type of pentium would be the recommended? I live in Honduras and is not so easy to always get the matching accesories for my pc as most companies do not ship to here, and sometimes is way expensive to upgrade in this Country.

It's an HP Pavilion. I'm concerned that as it ages, there is more chance for a major problem (disk drive, etc). Are there tell-tale signs I should look for?

setup is unable to perform the requested operation on the selected partition. This partition contains temporary Setup files that are required to complete the installation.

(I'm deleting Windows XP Home Edition and trying to install a new copy of the same)
