why does my desktop computer keep turning its self off at random times?? its doin me nut now.

p.c,s normally do this to save any damage to your computer,i know its annoying but its better than your new graphic card bursting into flames
however its probally only a software problem,and to stop your p.c from turning itself off all the time try this
go start>control panel>system properties>advanced>start up and recovery>untick the box saying"automatically restart"...remember to apply the settings and then press ok
this will stop any further shutdowns,however you need to first do a virus scan and several spyware scans to rule out malware
then check any programs you may have installed around the time these problems started
finally if problems persist a complete windows re-installation may be required

Unfortunately its difficult to say as so many things can contribute to this. You'll need a tech to physically look at your computer for this type of problem. Sorry...
