Open the case and do a good cleaning with spray air. Especially the power supply.

You can't diagnose this as a video or memory problem OR malware or anything else without more information. What are you doing, or what programs do you use which causes it to freeze?

Your PC freezing when opening the Yahoo home page is not caused by a video or memory issue, and freezing on booting up is not indicative of a malware issue. More information is needed.

Sadly, there is no simple answer to this! HOWEVER, you may have installed software which has clashed with your existing configuration and is causing your PC to hang.

You could try using a feature in Windows (assuming you are a Windows user!) called System Restore which allows you to roll back your system to a previous point in time.

Good luck!!

Video Card or Memory Problem, most likely a memory issue, try upgrading your RAM.

Most likely you are infected with Malware, and all the programs running overwhelm your system.
