I have downloaded a background for my computer, but when I go to my control panel, to my display properties, then to background options, it won't let me choose a background. I can see the options, but nothing happens when I click on them. I can only choose from the solid color backgrounds. I had a virus threat recently and downloaded some new security. It was after this happened that I started having the problems getting my background image options. Nothing else on my computer seems to have been effected, could this have happened from a virus? How can I fix it?

I've heard great things about it from employes at the Apple store and im curious to see if it is as great as it seems. I currently own a gateway computer with windows and i have more virus than you can possibly think of, from what i've heard it is impossible for a mac to get viruses. I'm just wondering if you have one do you love it and is it really worth the 1500 dollars?

It used to get about 80 mbps. I thought it was running out of ram but I've got about 200 mb free. However, cpu usage is permanently 100% and I'm not sure why.

My price range is under 350$ so these are one of highest end ones i found on that website...

I saw Intel Core Duo 2 is
1. cheaper
2. and has higher 4MB Cache Retail versus AMDs 2MB
3. and has higher

but AMD usually wins tests that i see (at least until recently cause i guess the Core Duo 2's are newer than AMDs am2 processors, hence they should be faster?)

here is example of CPUs i am looking at:
AMD
