When I try to boot up my pc The screen keeps going blank like it is restarting. I go to start the pc to the last known good config. and it tells me that i have a corrupt or missing file \windows\Sytem32\config\Sytems\. I tried to system restore and also I can't not use my windows cmd prompt to rewrite the file. I try to enter the commands and it says the it does not recognize the specific path. I contacted HP to get online help and it failed I really need help I am somewhat computer litterate. Thanks

On occasion I still use a 3.5" drive. I had my new computer built with a 3.5" drive, but when I try to save to it, or access it, it says "insert disk into A drive" can anyone help.

I am trying to get my daughters old computer up and running, but having no success. It is a HP Pavilon 7960, with a 1.3 Ghz Intel Pentium 4 processor, 128 MB RD Ram memory, 40 GB Ultra DMA Hard Drive, 32 MB nVidio TnT2 MG 4 Graphics Card with 32 MB SDRam, CD-RW HP CD Writer 8x4x32x Max Speed, and a DVD Rom Drive 16x Max Speed. My daughter has had this in storage for a few years and I thought I would try to get it up and running. The screen comes up with all the icons, with the Start menu, but I can't get into anything. It shows the hour glass display constantly. I think it is full of virsus's but I can't load anything to get rid of virsus's. Is this computer worth trying to save, or does someone have an answer that could possible salvage this computer?

All right, i built my computer last summer and it seems to crash about once every 2 days. i dont leave it on, it just crashes when im using it. I bought a asus a8n32-sli mobo with a amd 3800 processor. i am over clocking the processor , but not to much. please help thanks

It is about time for me to buy another computer. I used MACs until I was in the military, then switched to a Wintel box. I still feel that MACs are way ahead of Wintel boxes, but all military software runs only on PCs. I want to still be able to do all my work, and I was wondering if there are any performance problems with running Windows on a MAC now that MACs run on Intel chips?

I ran into a strangest issue ever. Everytime I right click the muose button Yahoo close. For exaple if I right click the nick or the password, or whild in the chat room when I right click a nick or to view the webcam, or in my contact list. I had reinstall Yahoo, and even installed an older version; but the issue is still occured. Please help me anyone. Happy holiday !!!
