From Cheapest to most expensive
Clean all dust out of the fans and corners in the Computer
Buy a small household fan and place it inside for extra ventalation.
Buy heat sinks for vital components such as processors and RAM
Buy bigger fans and maybe a new case which allows more airflow
Buy a water cooling system which is a surefire way to keep ur system running super cool and quiet

I had the same problem with my gateway-- It had all new parts in it though, so the processor was old compared to everything else, and it just overheated. You could buy a new heatsink and get a new fan, or add another fan, or if you need to, get something that will direct the air from the fan around the processor, which is what mine used. If you have a heatsink like mine [which was huge and took up most of the top half of the motherboard] you should go buy a newer and add the extra fan.

Pre-step. Always check to see if it is under warranty and that steps you take will not void the warranty.

First step is to make sure that their is enough ventilation around the CPU. Covered air holes can lead to increased heat inside the Box.
Second step, make sure all of the fans inside the machine are moving air (still working).
Third step, reseat the processor cooling system. Making sure contact between the fan and the processor are correct.
Forth Step. Load "Fail safe settings" in the bios.
Most likely this will solve your issue.

you can try cleaning it with a can of air, try closing any programs that are not being used in the background, you can purchase a small fan for your pc to cool down the unit as you are using it.
