My computer specs:
Comp is about 3-4 years old
Dell Dimension 2400
Intel Pentium 4 CPU
2.20GHz, 1.12Gb of RAM
Ati Radeon 256MB Video Card

When I play certain games like Guild Wars or Rakion, games like that. My CPU Usage is at 100%. Why is that? Is there a way I can fix that?

I have a dell home computer. There is a whole bunch of things that are downloaded on it that I do not know how to get off. Instead of kids erasing the programs they right clicked and deleted the name of the program but not the program itself. They are not in the add and remove in the control panel. How can I tell whats on my computer besides the control panel.

Each time i try to run a game it always says something like
'something not compatible with Directx9.0'
Everywhere else on the internet says i need to download the drivers for my card but i don't actually know what type of card it is.
So then i tried 'dxdiag' into run and it didn't tell me much there either everything was 'n/a'. I tried all the test though and everything seems to be working fine.

I don't know what to do anymore, Or should i just give up and buy a new graphics card.?

I know that the FDD port was originally used for the primary HD, prior to the days of SATA. I have 2 SATA H/Ds, on one of which I will be installing Vista. Since my m/b only has one ide port plus the FDD, is it possible to connect my second DVD drive to the FDD.

Hi all, I hope someone can help me. I tried to install warcraft 3 frozen throne, and everything was fine, but after installation, i tried to open my frozen throne game, it takes a long time for me to load it, otherwise, black screen appears and doesnt allow me to minimise or do anything to it, so I restarted my comp and i was able to start until Windows XP loading, the whole screen went black, safe mode is fine, therefore i did system restore, and then installed a Yahoo game grandmother tycoon, and when i tried to play the game, on full screen, it went black again. Now my windows xp works after system restore, but it takes a long time to load..if not it will be at black screen for a long time..I hope someone can help me on this and let me know if its my graphics card problem? Im using on board graphics card. Thanks in advance

I just reinstalled Windows 2K and now every time I start up, it is in safe mode. The display is all funky and grainy and when I try to reset the monitor/color resolution the max it shows is 800X600 when it should be 1024X768. This is driving me nuts.....which apparently is not a long trip.......Give me my screen and normal resolution back please......Thanks in advance.
