What does bluetooth do?

i just ordered a phone, and its bluetooth enabled. what can i do with bluetooth?

2: Sync your phones contact list with one on a computer that also has a bluetooth adapter
3: Other type of file transfers between your phonw and computer, like music if your phone can play MP3's.

Hi, Tessa. I work for Verizon Wireless and I get this question all the time. Bluetooth is simply wireless data transfer. You can use wireless headsets, transfer pictures to other bluetooth enabled devices, or use it in the car. Alot of the newer vehicles are coming out with bluetooth, so when you enter your vehicle your car will recognize the bluetooth and your phone will become a car phone.

Connect the bluetooth to your phone and be able to answer calls, talk to your callers through it and not have to hold the phone so much. Some flip phones allow you to leave them closed and still be able to talk. They may also allow you to shut them while you are still in the conversation.

I use Bluetooth every day, especially when I am driving. I can answer the phone just by one touch of the button on my bluetooth. It also has volume control and on and off on the one button. But you can still use the phone buttons along with your bluetooth if you feel more comfortable that way.
