Depending on how old it is, you may not need one. Reboot the PC and repeatedly press the f10 key until you see a restore menu. That is IF the PC has a hard drive anyway. If this doesnt get it, you can get the replacements from the HP website.

Same problem happened to me I lost my recovery disk. Luckily I still had warranty. Go to the hp site and find your computer and look for a tech support number. Phone hp tell them to send you a recovery disk for your computer. If the computer still has warranty they will send it for free or they may charge you $20-$30. Goood luck

Most computer companies offer "Recovery" disks, but there will be a cost involved. Go to he HP web site and check "Support".

you cant get replacement disc but you can borrow someones elses,
or
just use a windows cd and reinstall the computer and download the laptop drivers from the hp website, that way you want need the hp disc's
