if its quite recent, you can usually download the drivers (this is whats needed to make it work and what is usually on the cd) from the internet.

Click the following link and enter the OS (Operating System) you're using. There you can download the driver.
Make sure you download the correct driver for whatever OS you're using as using an alternative can cause more problems for you to sort out.

You can actually google "Canon iP2000 software" and click the first link...."Official Canon Drivers and Software." Go to the site, select the right printer and go through the download process. You can download just about any printer software online. Don't sweat it!
