i have a Gforce 5200 video card installed in the AGP slot, though the system turns on the light on the monitor is yellow and there is no video (dark screen)(even when the monitor is connected to the onboard slot with the card plugged in) when i remove the video card and monitor plugged into the onboard slot it works fine.

whenever i try to install latest games on my computer, sometimes i get the open gl error on my desktop..is there any solution to fix this problem without buying any specific hardware,so that i can continue with my games...how best can this problem be fixed??
my computer specification-
amd sempron -VIA KM266 PRO chipset ,A(462)socket, K7VM3(asrock motherboard).... winxp -operating system, ram-256mb

Please read the following and provide troubleshooting steps.

Issue:

Monitor goes blank. Keyboard becomes inactive.


Description:

This happens following two actions: 1] When I power on my computer tower 2] When the computer is already powered and running normally

In the first case, only the fans seem to have started and the keyboard's Num Lock bulb doesn't glow at all. However, the monitor gets power and displays a 'Check cable Connection' message. There will be no display.

In the second case, the same issue occurs when I try to switch between different user accounts. The monitor loses display, not power. And they keyboard becomes inactive. The CPU seems to be running normally as the fans keep running and the light on the tower keeps glowing.

Note: This is not a problem of computer shutting down abruptly

it goes into queue and that is it. nothing.and it takes forever to delete.works fine with the other laptop.but of corse this is the one i take in the truck with the printer.

I want to copy both sides of a piece of paper but print it out on one piece of paper so like it comes out double sided, hope im explaining it right? I have an all in one HP 1350 Printer but i dont want it to come out the same picture on both sides it will be two different pictures

I had my keypad changed on my laptop yesterday. When I turn on the computer and it boots up -- I get this error. Quote: "You do not have permission to change CATALYST Control Center settings. Please contact your administrator for future help".

Who would this "administrator" be? Me ... Tech Support.. My computer repair guy-- who?

Also ... my wireless adapater has been lost. When looking the the Network Connections ...there isn't anything there. That panel is empty.

Mind ... I had wireless before I took the laptop in for repair!

I just need to know who to call for support ...or should I take my laptop back to the shop and ask them why this is happening?

My bf's computer won't boot up. It was fine when he turned it off the last time he used it.

There are lights on the tower which means there must be power going through it, but nothing happens when he pushes the 'on button'. Also the keyboard doesn't light up.

He has checked the cords and they are tight. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I've got a hard drive that's about to go or says my operating system. I've already backed my essential data onto another hard disk. But just for emotional reasons( don't ask what) i want to save this hard drive. I've tried running scan disk in windows and dos but it just hangs( In dos there is no auto fix so I have to sit there pressing yes to every "fix problem" and get atleast 30 problems every cluster), I've tried running norton disk doc but it also freezes after 7%. Help me

Is there a program that can do it fast and easy and automatically and is also free to download :-)
